Funko Pop – Pokemon

With a license for Pokemon, Funko can finally produce POP figurines of the famous anime franchise. First revealed on the Funko subreddit, the series’ mascot Pikachu will be making its debut in pop form, and more are sure to follow. Also available will be a 10 inch silver metallic Bulbasaur and flocked variants of Squirtle and Charmander. These figures will be sold early at conventions by Entertainment Earth and include a “convention debut” sticker on the box.

These gen one favorites join a cast of upcoming Pokemon figures including a jumbo Charizard and a figure of the trainer Ash Ketchum. Other new figures include a flocked Caterpie, Dragonite giving a friendly wave, and a silver metallic variant of Squirtle to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the series.

Funko Pop is a line of stylized vinyl figurines created by Funko, a company that also makes plush toys and collectible toy lines such as Dorbz, Mystery Minis, Rock Candy, Spastik Plastik, Blox, and more. It has also created a number of subscription services including Marvel Collector Corps, DC Comics Collector Corps, and Disney Treasures.

Funko’s knack for capturing iconic franchise characters in cute Pop form sets it apart from its competition. The company has made a name for itself by producing figurines of some of the world’s most beloved properties, and some have become highly sought after by investors who believe that certain Funko Pops will rise in value over time. funko pop pokemon
