Located in the heart of California’s capital region, Arden Fair is a regional shopping center serving Sacramento with high sales volume and a diverse mix of national tenants. Its strong freeway access and visibility have made it a preferred location for retailers from multiple trade areas. Arden Fair is operated by Fulcrum.
Historically, the name “arden” was used to refer to wooded land managed by crown forestry officials under forest law. These royal forests were mainly in the form of deer parks, such as Henley-in-Arden and Coleshill, and of ecclesiastical or military woodlands, such as the Coughton Hill forest.
The Arden Estate includes a beautiful, historic mansion on the top of Mount Orama in Harriman. It is the first and one of the premier conference centers in the world. It has stunning views and is surrounded by a protected 450-acre site within the Palisades Interstate Park, less than 40 miles from Midtown New York City.
The arden has long been considered the gold standard in annotated, scholarly editions of Shakespeare’s plays. Each book offers a modernized text with comprehensive commentary notes glossing meanings and discussing staging issues, together with an extensive introduction by a leading scholar exploring the play’s critical and theatrical contexts. The arden is also home to a number of arts, crafts and music groups including dance, theatre and music.
